Needed:
Parent volunteers to help with set up, to serve and to clean up at the
Senior Celebration on Friday, May 31st from 9:45- 11:45.
Details:
The Senior Celebration will run from 10:30 until 11:30 in the cafeteria then
they will go to the senior awards ceremony in the gym. We will be
serving all seniors a Subway sandwich, an apple, chips & a bottle of water.
The Pelican's truck will also be at the school serving the seniors a snow
cone. Please encourage your seniors to attend the lunch. It will be a great
time for them to bring their year books for signatures and to get pictures
with their friends!
If you are unable to volunteer, please consider making a donation (checks
should be made out to AHS PTSA and mailed to AHS 1501 Laura Duncan Rd, Apex,
NC 27502) to help with the
celebration costs and/ or purchasing a "Proud Parent of a Senior" yard sign
for $10 from the AHS front office.

The State Highway Patrol and Subway restaurants have announced that Apex High School was among the winning schools in their W8 2 TXT campaign to prevent distracted driving, especially texting while driving. The winning schools were based on the highest percentage of student pledges for the area. Those schools will receive a $500 grant for safety programs courtesy of Subway restaurants.
