PTSA Holiday Lunch

FAFSA Day is February 20, 2016

On Saturday February 20, college financial aid officers and other volunteers will help students complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms. The program is open to students who plan to attend college in the 2016-17 academic year. FAFSA Day is a program offered by the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC), the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the State Employees' Credit Union each February. Financial Aid Workshop

There will be a Financial Aid Workshop on Thursday, December 3 at 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria. Sid Holloway, Assistant Director in the Financial Aid Office at North Carolina State University, will be the speaker.

The AHS Writing Center Opens in November!

The Apex Writing Center is a newly founded tool designed for students desiring help with class papers, college or scholarship application essays, or other written works. The Apex High School Writing Center will be open every Tuesday starting November 10 during lunch and after school until the end of the first semester. When students come to the Writing Center, they receive help in areas such as brainstorming, organization, grammar, and more. The Writing Center is led by a highly-recommended staff of students, who are volunteering their time to help the other students at our school.

Volunteer Registration

Volunteer registration will now be open every day of the school year. To register to become a volunteer, you must complete your registration at a WCPSS school.

Senior Scholarship Report Form

Seniors: Please bring copies of any scholarship offers you receive to Student Services. We keep track of all academic, athletic, or any other type of scholarship offered to members of our senior class. You will need to bring a copy of your scholarship award letter, along with this form to Student Services.
