Two teacher recommendations are required with the AOIT application. Ask permission before listing a teacher on this application. Please enter the teacher name, subject area, and email address. One teacher must be a current Math, English, Science, or Social Studies teacher; the other may be any current or former middle school teacher or counselor.

AOIT curriculum is an integration of Math, Science, English, Social Studies and Technology.  The technology courses are available in two sequences.  AOIT students must complete at least one of the sequences below as a requirement.  While all 9th graders will take computer applications I, programming students will also take computer programming I in 9th grade.  Students may change sequences, but they must take the pre-requisites for each course.  Students must have passed or currently be in enrolled in algebra I as a freshmen to take programming I.  Students who select the applications sequence must take computer programming I, but it may be taken any year.

I know that the AOIT (Academy of Information Technology) is a four (4) year program that requires specific courses and a paid summer internship between the junior and senior year of high school. The requirements must be met for completion of AOIT. My parents are in agreement with this application and I am interested in being a student in AOIT for 4 years.
