Coaches Responsibilities

All Apex High School junior homeroom teachers will act as a coach for our students. Every student will be assigned a faculty coach and will select another adult from the community as a mentor to direct and coordinate his or her work and provide help and information as needed.

Coach responsibilities are listed below:

Coach junior homeroom class starting with the class of 2010
Act as liaison between students and steering committee
Act as school resource for project requirements, deadlines, and procedures
Keep checklist for homeroom roster
Maintain a provided student file with necessary forms
Log meeting times and contact attempts
Meet with students at least once per quarter
Grade student portfolio
Serve as presentation judge
