Career planning is a process that involves students, parents, teachers, counselors, and the community. The goal is to help students make good decisions about themselves and their future. The process includes helping students develop and implement an individual career plan.
Career Services offer many opportunities for students, parents, teachers, and employers within the Apex community. This site has a selection of resources available on colleges, resumes & interviewing, careers, employment, and assessment which I hope you will find valuable as you plan for your future. As the Career Development Coordinator, I am available to assist students in skill assessments, career exploration, resume writing, interview tips, job shadowing, and internships. I am also available to assist with career events, business tours, guest speakers, and the high school graduation project. I work closely with the members of the Apex Business Alliance and AHS Business Partners to provide work-based learning opportunities to students and to assist with the school-to-career transistion. Please feel free to stop by my office in Building C, Room 706A.
Please let me know how I can assist you!
